The cold air swept around me fiercely; the rain took control of the shade of my clothes. I was so cold, yet I felt so numb. The tips of my fingers turned a shade or red. My nose was red from both the cold air and the dripping blood. I felt useless. I wish there was another way out. A better way out. I don't want to die yet, I'm just not ready to leave. However, this is the only way out for me now. I wish something different would happen...

Keith was in and out of the hospital for all of his life. He often snuck out of his room to wander the halls in an attempt to stifle his boredom. When he was ten years old, he found a boy in a coma-and he happened to be around his age. He would often talk to him about his day and bring him toys. But one day, the boy was gone without a trace. Lance was nine years old when he was in a major car accident. His injuries were extensive and he was put into a medically-induced coma. When he woke up, he recovered fully and returned home. Seven years later, he suddenly remembers a certain voice that spoke to him while he was under. The paladins of the other lions stopped paying attention to him until he went missing one day. None of the other paladins noticed, and now he was the only one who could save lance.
