When Darkness Falls

Ramona Pierce, a 26-year-old woman, moves to Jackson, Mississippi, after her mother's untimely death. After many enduring many hardships, she has finally gotten the job of her dreams, working at the top law firm in Jackson. In a desperate attempt to climb the ladder and prove her worth for a promotion, Ramona agrees to deliver confidential documents to another law firm in Georgia. As Ramona is traveling to her destination, she is steered away from the highway and directed towards an unknown path. She travels down a forgotten road and finally comes across a run-down motel, where she decides to stop for the night. The hotel manager warns Ramona about the dangers lurking within the night and urges her to stay in her room. However, Ramona is awoken in the night by strange sounds, and her curiosity gets the better of her. She leaves the safety of her room, stepping into the darkness to inspect things, only to be taken by an intruder and thrown into an unknown world.
