Five friends, one is a killer.
On fall break, twenty year old Eliza Goodchild sets off with four of her college friends for a remote cabin in Aspen, Colorado. When a blizzard strikes without warning, their SUV skids off an embankment and disappears into a wooded ravine. In the whiteout, they get lost and find themselves in a frigid wilderness where every wrong move can spell certain death. In their struggle to survive, they learn one of them is a killer. Everyone has secrets and motives, but when the killer claims a second victim, they realize all of them are targets in an icy twisted plot to get away with the perfect murder, or should we say, murders.

After the case is closed, Rosalind's posse is all distressed. They decided to meet at a restaurant to talk and when they order their bill, they also get a note which says that Rosalind was in fact murdered and the person who wrote it knows who killed Rosalind. All they have to do is follow the clues and obey the rules and it would lead them straight to the killer. It has been a stressful year for Rain who has struggled to keep up with the workload during her first year of marine biology at University. Now that summer has finally arrived, she can look forward to a long anticipated break and spend time with her friends enjoying one of their favourite pastimes - swimming in the Loch! Summer solstice arrives and they all decide to go swimming in the Loch to celebrate decent weather for once! Rain jumps in first, revelling in the warm but surprisingly cool water. As she surfaces, the summer weather has disappeared and she discovers her friends' lifeless bodies floating next to her. But how could this happen to strong swimmers in a shallow loch with no currents? The investigation commences and it's clear the police are struggling to find answers. Radically they suggest calling in special advisors to assist the investigation - the Paranormal Investigation Team (PIT). Will they fare better than the local police force? This isn't the first unexplained death to occur in this spot, after all this is the same loch where three children were discovered floating dead in the Loch during a game of hide and seek at a birthday party. Rain knows that supernatural forces don't exist. But no living person could have done this. Now she must work with PIT to unravel the truth behind a convoluted mystery of lies, murders and haunting stories to find out what really happened to her friends.Complete
