We all know and love the Bats and Birds, and we all know how each member of the bat family is broken and messed up beyond fixing. But what happens when a girl with an unknown past suddenly appears at the manor table one "normal" morning claiming she is they're new maid- can she try to fix everyone of them without losing herself? And what's this about Alfred actually accepting help?  This story contains slightly altered events following the New 52 universe.   Canon events are applied.  Genre/s: Family, Hurt/Comfort, Mystery, Angst, Friendship, Action, Adventure, Crime, Horror, and I might sprinkle it with a teaspoon of Romance.         Warnings: blood, gore, swearing, the story will get darker as it progresses (probably PG-13).    Comment please! Constructive criticism is absolutely welcomed! Through the portal closest to them, the boys can see grass and park benches where concrete and pavement should be. She jumps through and as she does, the portal in front of them collapses. Off in the distance, where the park is, Tim can see her running away, dark hair flying in the wind. "Real smooth Drake." Damian says, striding towards me. "Should've asked for her number while you were at it." --- "Phantom? That's the name you're going with?" "It's a hell of a lot cooler than Robin." She snaps back at him. "Robin was not a name that I..." Tim grabs Damian by his cape as he marches toward her. "Be nice to the guests Damian." Alfred says in a tired voice, interrupting Damian's rant. "Bite me." He snarls at Ria. --- Dabria Tran has lived in Gotham City her whole life. First as a nurtured, well looked after baby, then as an orphaned, forgotten child and now as a desperate, impulsive teenager. At the ripe age of eighteen, Ria is on the streets, fending for herself and dealing with powers she can barely control. It is while on patrol that Tim Drake and Damian Wayne spot this camouflaged girl of the night and try to stop her as she breaks into a local convenience store, not to steal the cash but the food. After obsessively tracking her for a week, Tim finally catches up with her, finding her holed up in an abandoned building with another younger girl she is trying to care for. Bruce Wayne doesn't hesitate to take them in, but Ria's mistrust of them leads to tension in the house. Her powers are dangerous, volatile and no matter how hard Tim tries, he can't get her to open up to him. As Ria's shadowed past slowly catches up with her, the Bat Family finally realizes that they have no idea what kind of forces they're dealing with. Richard also had problems, being a short, adopted 'nerd' the others find it fun to harass the young boy. Wally never had it easy at school. He had many enemies that took advantage of his brain. Things continue to get worse, with Wallys Father still on the loose, what will these teens do? Will they ask for help? Or try to deal with ir themselves? And what happens when Wallys mother gets a new boyfriend? Things are changing, and change can be scary. Things are not what they seem. I do not own DC or its characters.
