"What were you doing in the room alone with him?" He asked pinning her with his cold, hard gaze holding her wrist and trying his best not to drown in this little beauty standing in front of him who was looking bewitching today in the lehenga he himself chosen for her however what infuriated him that she kept forgetting something. "What do you mean? I-I was just helping Aarav-- "By giggling out loud and slapping his chest playfully? Is that how you were helping him?" He asked again inching closer to her caging her between him and the wall, his hand sliding along her arm sending shivers down her spine and another snaking around her waist pulling her closer, their breaths mingling as he took her in, drank her in soothing himself to have her close yet a rippling agony shredding him from inside antagonizing his mind as he didn't know what to do with the adorable woman in his arms and at the same time kiss her senseless and forget about everything, everything which terrorizes his mind. "W-What are you even saying? It was beca- "Shh, I am barely holding it in and I swear, when I am with you, I go insane. Stop messing with my head because I don't want you so don't make me go over it all over again." He whispered after his finger brushed against her plump lips, him eyeing those sultry and inviting red-tinted lips feeling heat surging through his body unable to control the waves of passion and black jealousy as he pressed his lips against her in a sensual kiss transferring those waves to her as he held her possessively against him before pulling back and whispering to her with his darker yet the same shade of orbs as hers swirling with depth and that crude coldness like a devil. "You need to play the part well as long as this marriage stands, dear wife. As long as and not for eternity." He spoke darkly before stepping back and leaving her as if the wind of those emotions was a lie, that heated and passionate stare, all of it.

It should've ended with distance. A silence. A closed door. But instead, it began here-pressed against a balcony wall, with her breath caught between fear and temptation, and his grey eyes burning with something far more dangerous than lust. He didn't touch her. Not yet. But the threat of it lingered in the space between their bodies, in the way his chest nearly brushed hers every time he exhaled. She could feel the tension rippling off him, barely contained-like a storm pacing behind his ribcage, just waiting to destroy. "You shouldn't be here," he said, voice rough, low, and shaking with restraint. But he was the one who had cornered her. He was the one who couldn't stay away. And she? She hated how much she didn't want to run. Because this-whatever this was-felt like standing on the edge of something irreversible. "You're my employee," he snapped. As if the label could cage what was already unravelling inside him. "You're a mistake I keep choosing." Her eyes met his-furious, pained, exposed. "I never asked you to," she said, but her voice cracked around the lie. His hand lifted slowly, brushing the side of her jaw with a touch that contradicted everything his words said. Possessive. Tender. He stared at her like she was the very thing he was never meant to want-and the only thing he couldn't stop needing. "I've spent years building walls to stay in control," he muttered, his thumb grazing her lower lip. "You walk in and wreck all of it... without even trying." She swallowed hard. This wasn't love. This wasn't even hate. This was obsession-raw, electric, and utterly doomed. And as his lips hovered over hers, trembling with the weight of a thousand wrong intentions, they both knew- 🥀It started with a look. It spiralled with a touch. And before they could stop it, they were already each other's greatest undoing.
