According to National Geographic, the world is 4.54 billion years old, so there are plenty of stories to tell. I totally recommend giving this a go.

I might not be able to complete every day and the stories will be unedited. Goal will be to have 365 stories. Hopefully with time, my skill will improve and the tales more captivating.

I'm trying to be more creative and set myself to try and write a short story, poem, play, etc. At the top of each page is the Wikipedia Entry from the line I chose from the Wikipedia page. It could be an event, birth, death, etc. Sometimes it has been hard to choose just one topic, so maybe a second book will be in the works!

Each chapter is going to be inspired by an actual event that happened on that day from a moment in history. Some I will try and be factual and others I'll add fiction. I've found that I do get wrapped up in my research sometimes (e.g., The life of Jean Parisot De Valette is fascinating!) and I spend hours completing it to formulate my story. I won't reference in every story if it comes directly from the resources on the Wikipedia page.

The genre is going to vary story to story. E.g., movie stars vs Warlocks. The chapter name gives the date and simplified title of the subject. Any suggestions would be appreciated! I've created a separate page of the month (e.g., titled 'February'). This will list all the stories and their summaries, just in case you want to skim through and find a particular story you are interested in.

Disclaimer: I do not claim to be an expert in historical characters, peoples, times, places, languages, & settings, nor does this have any historical relevance; I'm just a writer, retelling the story of the Trojan War in a biblical light. It's still a work in progress, so I will continue to write & correct my writing & any errors I made along the way. Inspired by Greek Roman & European legends, historical army formations, remixed with biblical themes, & an original vision of mine. Come & experience a retelling of the Trojan War in a Christian biblical light manner & POV, while keeping in touch with some of what was written in Homer's Iliad, Odyssey, Virgil's Aeneid, & other ancient writings, changing what was originally there, & adding biblical ideas to the story of the Trojan War. The story follows Priam's desperation for the wife he loves Hecuba to have a child. After hearing about Israel's Conquest of the land of Canaan & rumors spreading about their God amongst the commanders officers, he willingly sets out on a diplomatic mission to bring to the tribes of Israel gifts, going to Kedesh-Naphtali Priam comes into conflict with Sisera a Canaanite commander of 10,000 Canaanites & 900 chariots, meets Barak of Ephraim before he became a commander, & the prophet Deborah who led Israel at the time. The story continues on with the birth of Paris & how he came to be as a shepherd boy with his guardians Agelaus & Harpru, & his friends Ankenaus, Brutus, Francus, Achates, & Oenone to how he becomes the prince of Troy meeting his half siblings Deiphobus, Troilus, Hectoris, & others.

The place of nightmares that very few know of, the place of cruel and inhumane tests conducted on the innocent. These storms are known to be dangerous for a plethora of reasons throughout the world. The Facility and all of it's holding cells & security stations deactivated and disabled due to the storm. Releasing everything without supervision. Hence, this phenomenon being called "Destabilization". Now, Monsters and deviants alike set free to roam. Some take matters into their own hands to escape. (Y/N) is a subject within the bowels of the facility, among the few who have the will to survive. Though, with little knowledge of their own past and current situation, (Y/N) finds some friends along the way. All hoping to find an escape. This story is a little gay, just a little. Hope you enjoy reading, give me any and all feedback The story will randomly transition between reader POV and (Y/N) POV at times. It's subtle, so pay attention. [Sometimes scenes will say "We did (something) and other times [You did (something). It's all the same. Just different POVs Melee killing is violent and gory on purpose. None of the art shown belongs to me. Inspired from various video games. Melee Combat directly based on Decaying Winter Slightly inspired by Rogue Lineage. Gender-neutral reader.

Faith, fear, and fury. The strongest, most inalienable things that make us human. While the people of the world learn and grow, they shed feeling and emotion as time passes. Much like how matter cannot truly be destroyed, the energies of these sentiments never dissipates. Instead, it feeds beings born of all types of things, from ancient cultural followings to widespread societal discourse. In turn, these beings give back to the world--for better or worse. After the traumatic incident of his father's death, young DeMain is thrust into a world of turmoil and a hidden people right under the world's nose. As he harnesses a rare and unique ability gifted to him in exchange for his suffering, his view of the world unravels as he converges with others given the gift of Witchblood, an ability to see and interact with spirits. This book will take on its narrative based on the first-person views of three separate protagonists. I will remind those reading that 'protagonist' does not equate to 'hero' in all cases. A forewarning: This story includes many heavy themes and I felt the need to write them with the reality of how they happen. As such, be cautious. This book contains mentions of sexual assault, murder, violence, substance abuse, and overall conflict. There are also quite a varied amount of scenes with some 'gross' aspects to them. Though I imagine this would only affect those with vivid imaginations, you deserve to be warned regardless. Updates will done be once weekly if not more.

I've dreamed of the perfect marriage ever since I was a little girl: a marriage complete with a hardworking husband while I tended to the home and our children, preferably four little rugrats to call my own. I dreamed of a life filled with laughter, joy, and success, a life we built together. I dreamed of growing old next to my husband, creating a great love story to tell our grandchildren someday. It all seemed so possible. I was raised to be the perfect wife, after all. From the outside, it seemed I had exactly what I dreamed of with the rich, determined husband; the brilliant, gaudy diamond ring; and the beautiful home filled with the hope of future children. Yes, it was all a dream come true. I should have felt grateful, really. The problem is, I also wanted a marriage based on love, passion, and affection, but those are the only things my husband cannot give me . . . . . . because they're reserved for her. For readers: * I do my best to proofread before publishing, but some typos and errors will slip through. Feel free to point them out! * Comments, active engagement, and helpful critiques are welcomed. * Mean, unnecessary comments that attack me, personally, or other commenters will be ignored and deleted. It takes a lot of courage to publish your work and for others to actively engage in a community. I'd like to keep this a safe and fun place to rage at imperfect heroes and cheer for darling heroines! * I'm not a spicy writer. I rather use my word count for plot, character development, and GROVEL!!! * Most importantly, I hope you enjoy the little world I'm creating. Happy reading, everyone! ADS/Imaginationgirl35

This story began as a NaNoWriMo 2012 work, with no planning, and even less idea of plot. I learned from that experience that I am not a 'pantser' -and spent about 20 painful months trying to turn my stream-of-consciousness 3-stories-in-one into one coherent novel, following the timeline and events in the Book of Genesis. I discovered that that is not a great way to build a plot. I ended after 5 more drafts, at about 60k words. There is another draft on my blog, slightly longer, a bit more experimental. This is only meant to be a marker of progress. I hope some may find it enjoyable, useful, and even helpful. If interested in the 6th draft: https://shiradest.wordpress.com/2014/12/20/martin-luther-king-rabbinical-commentary-poster-inspired-a-novel/ Peace, Shira
