There's Something Wrong with Dakota

"Okay Dakota, I guess I'm gonna be stuck with you now," I said to my cousin.

Dakota stared at me for what seemed like forever. "Is something wrong?" I asked.

"I don't need you here," she said. I was a bit taken aback by that comment. "What?" I said.

"I have them," she answered as she walked away.

Annie moves in her to her aunt's house with her brother and sister after losing their parents. Staying there meant that she would see her cousin, Dakota. They haven't seen each other in 10 years. As she lives there, she notices something peculiar about Dakota. Memories come back to her about how strange Dakota was when they were little. Dakota always stayed away from the other kids but never from Annie. But now, it seems as if Dakota didn't want to be with Annie either.

Annie doesn't know what's going on but she knew one thing for sure. There's something wrong with Dakota.
