"No man is an island," they say, but Airelle Ezra Rue from the Humanities and Social Sciences strand isolates herself from everybody to focus on herself and avoid becoming attached to someone. She prefers to be alone than hang out with temporary people, not until a boy from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics who's the total opposite of her personality starts to hang out with her even if she doesn't want it. Can a psychosocial person develop herself when there's a person who will help her throughout the process or not?

Sometimes, a person can feel lonely even while being surrounded by people. I, on the other hand, have never been surrounded by people, because if anything, I preferred feeling alone without anyone. Or more like being alone with my imaginary friend. I created Jayden in my mind back when I was nine years old. For most of my life, I transferred schools non-stop in hopes to have a better social life, at least that's what my parents wished for me to have. Unfortunately for them, I already gave up on that. I simply continued talking to Jayden, the only friend I ever had since childhood. And it just kept going as it was... until it didn't. ~~~ ~This story is dedicated to my younger self. Aude has a plan. Sort of. Survive business school, be more mature, keep things casual with the boy she's definitely not in love with, and absolutely, under no circumstances, fall for the arrogant finance guy she interned with in Greece. Easy. Except her year in Nantes has other ideas: There are too many parties she doesn't remember agreeing to, suspiciously flirty chats, and way too many moments that feel like coupledom, but aren't. Not officially. As friendships shift and feelings get messy, Aude finds herself growing up in ways she never planned, and realizing that the people who change us the most aren't always the ones who stay. Sharp, funny, and quietly devastating, this is a story about love, timing, and the chaos of becoming who you are, one awkward text at a time. - - - - - - - - Cover found on Pinterest TWS : Talks about mental health Songs and lyrics go to their rightful owners
