It's about a love that was toxic, abusive, and other things. But one day the husband decided to kill her for no apparent reason. While he was drunk, then he forgets about that and thought it was a dream so he ends up calling her by his pet name for her. If you want a sad poem to cry to, this is one.
Why did he kill her? Nobody really knows.
Did he actually love her? Only for his needs.
Why is this about a toxic relationship? It is based on it because we are getting into toxic relationships every single day, without knowing it. But this is a really toxic one, to the point it is obsessive, stalkerish and manipulative. Not really good, so here you go if you want to be cautious. Except you really don't know until it is too late.

She is already so gone, that every one of her friends and family are very close to giving up, and on each tick of the clock Riley is close to letting go. You won't find anything such as that, as the tags suggests too. He tears down her walls and helps her from Thibault, but she's scared he'll leave her. So she pushes him away, not knowing that their lives are so much more connected than she thought.
