When dropped in the foster system at just 6 and 13. The Elliot sisters vowed not to let anyone seperate them from each other. Soon turning 18, April Elliot wasted no time before getting a job and an apartment up to state expectations , then soon adopting her little sister Eloise. You'd expect everything to be okay by now, right? Wrong. Soon into their new and happy life Eloise Elliot was diagnosed with stage four cancer. Day after day the doctors told April that she was getting worst, and she was determined not to lose her sister. April was soon breaking down in frustration seeing her sister getting weaker, she thought she'd never be happy again. Chris Elgort is a volunteer at the Youth Recovery Hospital, paticarlly in the cancer section. While taking care of Eloise she points out that she has an older sister. That leads him to meet April and soon falling for her.

The girl in room four-seventeen seems to be a permanent part of the paediatric wing of St. Anne's Hospital. She is bright, smiley, full of life. She doesn't look sick at all.
