Valarie Pree is a 16 year old girl who lost her mother when she was five, and was to stay with her abusive father. Her father had got married to a rude woman, Shariy lesCher. After he father died when she was nine, Shariy was even mlre abusive and all she could thibk about was school.

Valaries grades have gone very downhill since her best friend, DJ, moved to california. When she meets the new teacher, she feels a connection.
Although he is much older than her, she must do things with him for better grades.
