04Lonewolf's Short Stories
This book is essentially just a compilation of all my short stories that I've written over the last couple of years. Story titles with '🏷️' are inspired by a short story prompt or other literary work, whilst ones with '📙' are stories purely from my own imagination. Ones with '🧩' may be an excerpt from a larger story I'm working on, but can still be considered as a short story by itself. Also just letting you know in advance that I wrote quite a few of these when I was younger and they are really bad 😅. Well, even my recent ones aren't the best. All I'm saying is... these are my very rough drafts, so read at your own risk, and please be positive or feel free to (politely) point out any mistakes so I can make them better :) Enjoy! I saw these great prompts in @LuckyBugBooks 's Flumptober book, so I've decided to try my hand at the challenge! I'm a little nervous, cuz this is my first time doing something like this, but I'm mostly excited because this sounds like a lot of fun! Nonsense Adventures!
A young boy travels with his friends through a weird, mostly chill world to discover the truth about himself. More mysteries unravel during the story, and soon will find something most would rather never know... (I swear the majority of the story is wholesome, though--) ✮❃~NOTES!~❃✮ -TW! Mention of blood and disturbing imagery My story does not go into high levels of detail about gore or anything, but there is a mention of blood near the end and disturbing things described sometimes. The Scout (Prompts)
This story is now on Figment! I will not be updating this on Wattpad! If you wish to read more its the same title on Figment! So these are prompts that were started because of Camp NaNoWriMo, my cabin-mates and I came up with them to keep ourselves busy while waiting for it to start. Now that its over (and I'm through finals) I'll probably go through them and edit, and add the last few prompts that I missed. I'm writing a bigger story that may or may not contain elements of these prompts but it does contain Trix and her friends. PROLOGUE My name is Alex Kahill. On July 15, 2017, I killed a person, but am not accused of murder. However, I am being hunted by those who hold me responsible for this death...and most certainly, these folks fully intend to terminate my life. Three months ago, my life was actually better than good. I was taking a personal sabbatical in picturesque Western New York, doing three things that I dearly love. (1) Riding my bike (2) Flying my drone and (3) Visiting my son, Ben, who was interning as an environmental reporter for the Chautauqua Daily, a local paper serving the Chautauqua Institution. Better than good. And then out of nowhere, my existence went to shit. You know, the killing thing. So I'm writing this journal as a cry for help. In an effort to make some sense of the tragic events that have recently unfolded in my life, I'm hoping that if enough light is shed on what happened to me, my potential demise might literally become "troublesome" for those who would do me harm...maybe I'm just being naive, but it's worth a shot. At this point, I don't really have much to lose. I am no writer, so please bear with me. But know that I am totally vulnerable, so I'll try to be thorough as I tell my story.
