We all know the stories that end in happily ever after, but these all seem rather trivial at the surface level. What if our favorite characters had psychological stresses like each one of us? (anxiety, PTSD, etc.)?  My creation is a modern (Cell Phones/Cars/etc.) take on what happens right after the wedding scene on the barge. It's our favorite couple, Ariel/Eric, facing the life ahead of them of being in charge of the kingdom, and eventual task of starting a family. This tells the adventures, troubles & everything in between. Queen Athena's still alive. No crossovers/genderbends, but HEA. All references belong to Disney, and this story is dedicated to the "Little Mermaid" cast, Howard Ashman, and all of the dreamers like me out there, who continue to look for the next adventure. Philip's kindness remains prominent in her mind when Minerva offers her a choice to be a human. Hesitantly she agrees, unaware of how different the human world from hers.
