[1] The Queen Dowager of Württemberg | A. Bridgerton by f1royalty
28 parts Complete
The tale of Her Majesty The Queen Dowager of Württemberg unfolds not as a fairy-tale love story with a happily ever after but as a narrative of growth and resilience. Returning to London with her youngest children after her husband's demise, she steps back into the swirl of the 1813 social season. Life demanded many sacrifices from Charlotte, but none weighed as heavily as the sacrifice of her enduring love, especially for one man-a particular Viscount. Thirteen years after burying the echoes of their first love, fate orchestrates a poignant reunion between Charlotte and the Viscount, Anthony Bridgerton. What they believed to be entombed emotions rise to the surface with each encounter, proving that some feelings, no matter how deeply buried, refuse to remain silent. Love crashes onto their souls once again, defying the passage of time and stirring the embers of a connection they thought had long faded away. The 1813 social season will definitely be as unexpected as it will be beautiful and scandalous. Lady Whistledown shall have to purchase more ink... Disclaimer: All original rights and credits of this amazing series goes to its creators. And of course, the original creator of all characters and books, Julia Quinn and to Chris Van Duden, the creator/showrunner/executive producer of the Netflix Original Series: Bridgerton. The only new/added characters are Princess Charlotte, etc, and its ideas belong to me.
A Lord and Lace (Regency au! Prince Arthur x oc) by kfacecookie
1 part Complete
A wayward regency au one shot I wrote for fun, and because the concept wouldn't stop haunting my mind. ~ Trying to get back up after his ex-fiancé left him, Lord Arthur Pendragon relents to his friends and families idea of hosting a party in his family's estate. Although holding up hope for a new love that evening, he could not predict falling head over heel for a woman with haunted eyes, who secretly hides a crooked and wicked grin and a spark of intrigue unlike any he's glimpses before. After catching the sight of that side of her, and the way her families mistreatment severely dampens it, he finds himself sure of one thing. He's going to get her out their grasp, but doing so might be more tricky then first expected. Miss Harriet Frodesdotter is stuck in a hell of constantly being forced into a uncomfortable, lace covered, dress, into unbearably loud ballrooms, and dealing with condescending suitors that her controlling sister manages to steer towards her. The sudden approach by a Lord Pendragon does make her pause however, his sweet and concerned eyes appearing to be almost horrifyingly sincere as he offers to help her with her family issues. She doesn't trust him, he's not the first to claim to be her savour for purely selfish reasons, but something tells her that there's something more to him, and not in a bad way. ~ Content warning for ableism, family issues (including abuse, I don't perceive it as especially graphic, but it's there) and depictions of meltdowns.

Chattan Bride

29 parts Complete Mature

READERS' FAVORITE FIVE STAR AWARD WINNER - As the daughter of a strong English baron, Isabel is compelled by peace negotiations to become the child-bride of the enemy, the powerful, handsome and fierce Scottish Laird of the Chattan clan, Alysandir. Her youth and his distaste for a marriage alliance with his enemy render her strenuous efforts to win the approval of her husband almost futile. Even though she failed him in a hopelessly complex situation, why would he allow his former fiancé to get away at an attempt to kill her? When her dying father calls her home to England, she is forced to be braver than her years as her exiled, murderous half-brother, Gilbert, attempts to wrest control of Bamborough Castle, their family home, from her father, who was determined to never allow Gilbert the inheritance. Could Alysandir, her wizened warrior husband soften her battle-hardened heart, protect her from her treacherous half-brother and win back her love? Growing up amid the border wars taught Isabel to be strong, cautious and adaptable. Fighting in those wars made Alysandir inflexible, distrustful but patient and brave. Could he secure his lands and keep his new bride safe from those who wished to harm her, or even protect her from herself? After breaking her, could he gather her back to himself and teach her to trust him before her half-brother and brother-in-law kill her over a piece of borderland?
