After surviving the Elder War, the T Squad discovers an impending doom in the backyard of one of the many Wells' residences. After being blindsided and kidnapped, the T Squad is tortured by... Humans?
Humans have become aware and are petrified of the Beings and their abilities. Treble knows it would be stupid to go to war right after the Elder War, and she tries to avoid it at all costs. The humans, however, are stubborn and refuse to accept her words as truth.
Will there be a war or will something else get the humans first?
(Again, I sincerely apologize for my lack of being able to summarize things. This is the sequel though, and the language warning still applies)

Lotticia Andrews had spent her entire life behind the walls of her library. Her father raised her to be selfish, and to fear the outside, and even after his death- she never left. She and her border collie had remained- until their food ran out. Lotticia wasn't a fighter, she only ever knew how to use knives- a knife her father had taught her how to use. A knife, a dog, a journal, and anxiety are all her father left her with. And books- hundreds of books. Then a Warrior general stomps his way into her life- trampling her solitary and lonely life. He's loud and obnoxious, imposing- but there seemed more beneath his hard exterior. His personality was a weapon he wore like his armor. General Christoph was a harsh leader compared to his predecessor Zelle. The warrior who trained him and chose him to continue in his footsteps after his death. He was bitter and cynical- and didn't intend to take another woman after his mate had died all those years ago. But things don't always go according to plan- he never meant to stumble upon a small female, nor her furry big-eyed dog. Christoph needed this human, for her knowledge and the language she could help them to understand her hand language. A small group, a one-day trip- that was all it was supposed to be. But then no one expected poachers, Another human female, or the natural cycle and what it could do to the human body. Christoph had completely underestimated the trip. Now war has broken out and tensions rise- both buried feelings and skeletons come falling out of the closet. Can this spunky smart girl survive the Palace's wrath? Can Christoph face the reality that things aren't always what they seem nor black and white? Will Lassie play her part- and find her way home? Who knows- maybe humanity was doomed on Earth- but that won't be Lottie or her dog- because she's willing to do whatever it takes to get moved up to the front of the list. Even if it means dealing with the palace, poachers, and skrill alike.

27 parts Ongoing Mature

In 2042_POST-WW3, the world took a darker turn after the devastation of World War III. Nations lay in ruin, and shadowy organizations vie for control over advanced technology and relics from the past. As global tensions rise, elite operatives and enhanced humans become the last line of defense in a world teetering on the edge of chaos. Amidst the desolation, remnants of military factions have merged with rogue scientists and tech-savvy mercenaries, forming clandestine groups that operate outside of governmental oversight. These factions seek not only to hoard the remnants of pre-war technology but also to exploit the advanced relics-artifacts of a bygone era that possess unfathomable power. The competition for these relics ignites a ruthless underground war, where alliances are fragile and betrayal is commonplace. As the remnants of the old world clash with the new, loyalty is tested, secrets are revealed, and the struggle for survival takes on a desperate urgency. In a landscape where hope is a flickering flame, the fate of humanity hangs in the balance, resting on the shoulders of those who are willing to confront the darkness and reclaim the future.
