In this AU, Félix and Marinette's characters are based on the ones from the Miraculous anime PV that was never made (extra explanation of MCs in prologue). Additionally, there is a focus of side characters such as Gabriel, Nathalie, and Chloé (all these characters are based on the canon cartoon). This story takes place in the world of the cartoon but I have added some elements of the anime and my own spin on things. It's mostly plot and romance with occasional action. Lately, she had been following Adrien and Lila after hearing the rumour of them being together. Marinette didn't believe it, and no matter how stalkerish that sounded, she still wanted to find out herself. She wanted to see it with her own two eyes. Finally, she leaned over and peeked at the corner, where Adrien and Lila were sitting on a bench. Marinette could feel her eyes widening when she saw both lips pressed against each other's, both of them engaged in a kiss, which shattered Marinette's heart. She had hoped that her crush wasn't dating another girl, but here she was, seeing them kiss with her own two eyes. The situation made her upset, but her stomach also hurt from the anger she was feeling. She clenched onto her stomach and willed herself not to cry, but instead, her legs gave way and she landed on her knees, more unsettling anger rushing through her body like large waves. This was too much to handle. As tears escaped from her eyes, Marinette didn't notice the small dark butterfly fluttering towards her. Instead, she covered her face and forced herself not to scream, tried to get up from her knees and walk away, pretending she hadn't seen anything. But it wasn't easy, and when she finally looked up to see the Akuma, it was already too late. One of Marinette's rules had always been not letting Hawk Moth control her, but that all changes when Marinette catches her crush kissing a girl, his new girlfriend. Marinette feels shattered by the sight and wasn't strong enough to control her anger.
