Torn between her blood and her kin Rekena may be an elf but her loyalty and love lies with the dwarfs under the mountains. Being the middle sibling, Aearon knew her life would be full of struggles; she would not inherit the throne nor would she allow herself to be paraded around for others to admire. While carrying out her duty, Aearon found herself at the mercy of the cold Prince of Mirkwood and King Thranduil himself. Finding herself locked in Thranduil's dungeon, the she-elf soon finds herself becoming friends with the most unlikely of creatures who steer her life on to a whole new path. Accompanying the group of dwarves to their home, Aearon finds herself battling both foe and feeling as she struggles to survive the dangers of middle earth. There she meets Aragon, an old friend or hers who is a fellow ranger and she also makes the acquaintance of a dwarf, an elven prince, four hobbits, a wizard and two men. Along with her trusty wolf companion, Nasha, and her horse, StarLight, Sapphire is swept up in a quest to save Middle-Earth. She forges long lasting friendships with those around her and finds herself getting close to the elven prince even though they start as rivals. This is a Legolas love story but if any of you have read my other fan fictions then you know I love character development and so this is likely to take a long time to get started. Also, I know there are like a billion fan fictions with the same plot, that being a female elf who is part of the fellowship and ends up falling in love with Legolas. I know every fan fic is basically that plot repeated over and over again but I just said, 'what the hell, if you can't beat them, join them' so I made this.Complete
