Two lovers meet in a garden, for her, it was love at first sight. For him, not so much. The novella is set in early 1950. Alison, a young housewife whose husband, David, recently passed after being sent into battle during world war two. She falls into a Great Depression after noticing how happy her neighbours are. As a result, she would take weekly retreats to the "love garden". Here she meets Charles. Charles is a recently divorced man after his wife Nancy cheated on him with her assistant. Charles has two young daughters Eliza and Lydia, Aged 9 and 7 who end up getting caught in the middle of it all.
Charles begins to visit the garden to escape his crumbling love life and notices that someone is following him...

Caroline loves her new friend Lily. They do almost everything together. But as time goes on, it becomes more and more apparent that Lily is not everything she seems to be. Where did Lily come from, what is she hiding, and what's the real reason for their intense friendship? For those of you who are already familiar with my writing, I should let you know that this short story is nothing like anything else I've written. I wrote it as a birthday gift for a ten-year-old girl. She devoured the whole thing in couple of hours and when she finished, she told me she loved it. This ten-year-old girl is very girly, she likes unicorns and rainbows and magical worlds, but she also likes Sci-Fi and scary, threatening bad guys. As a result, the genre of this book is quite niche, and it may not be appropriate for every ten-year-old. There are some confrontations I would categorise as "mild peril." Spoiler Alert: If you're a parent looking for something for a child of a similar age, there are two deaths in this book and so you may want to check it out first because I recognise every child is different. (The girl I wrote is for said they weren't graphic deaths, and she was fine with both in the context of the story.) Anyway, she asked me to put it out there for others to enjoy, so ... enjoy.Terminé

Jake, a handsome 19 year old boy who's parents died, so he now lives by himself, met Emily, a 17 year old, goody two shoes girl, who wants nothing to do with her stuck-up parents, and they are now madly in love, but can't physically express themselves to each other until Emily's 18, because of her dad going to rad them out. Emily finally turns 18, and they go camping out in jakes woods. Emily gets taken in the night by a stalker, and Jake comes to the rescue.When Jake goes out to find Emily, the stalker tries to kill Emily and Jake is in hot per suit to find her and make her safe again. When Jake kills the stalker, he ends up killing himself too, and now Emily can only see him in her dreams. Now, she has to handle a lot more than his house and herself while he's gone because of there little camping trip.Terminé
