After narrowly escaping her abusive boyfriend, semi-verbal and autistic Breo Williams finds herself alone on the streets of San Antonio. Cold and scared, 'good' samaritan and Cartel boss Javier 'La Parca' Ramirez takes her in, slowly growing fond of her company. 

Javier finds himself conflicted as he learns more about Breo, questioning his priorities, life choices and morals as his feelings for her inevitably develop, while Breo slowly begins to heal from her past with help from Javier, the man who was there for her when she needed it the most.
