Book 1 - follows season 1

Alex Hua is by his mothers side every second of every day until she tragically passes away after a four year battle against cancer.
At first he feels lost and jumps into an anger fuelled rage. But then something strange happens. A shimmering pool of light opens up in his living room and sucks him in.
But when he wakes, he sees a familiar face. Not a face he knows, but one he's seen on his tv.

Skye Johnson? 

It gets even weirder when the Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D slam open the van door and begin to play out the exact events of the show.

How can he possibly let them fall into the same traps he watched through a screen? But what would happen if they knew the truth? And more importantly, how does him being there change things?
