Spyro had defeated the Sorcerer and the world is safe once again and everyone lives happily ever after. Or at least, everyone thought because the Dragon Elders are having dreams of other dragons kill them. So, Tamus gives Spyro a request to go to the Polynomial Realms and give The Peace Of Treaty to a King and a Queen but Spyro must ask for help and he asks Ember but Ember hesitantly accepts the offer and joins Spyro. I do not own Spyro or the franchise. I only own my OCs. And Cynder does exist here but she's fifty five years old and my OC, Ronald, exists here and is a dragon but he's fifty seven years old. This version of my OC is different from the version that I used in my remake of The Legend Of Spyro series in Fanfiction so do not get them confused! Note: This exists in an alternate universe of the Classic Series where Ember did not have a crush on Spyro nor develop a crush on him when she first met him and was just like him but did talk about marriage and stuff. Spyro only had a crush on Brigand, a female pangolin, who is one my Classic OCs. Spyro and Ember only develop feelings for each other during this adventure.All Rights Reserved

Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. Forty Years of This [Monster Hunter World] by senatorwiggles

Direct crosspost from Ao3 This is an INTENSELY self indulgent prequel for the events of Monster Hunter World following the life of the Commander. Fic takes place from the First Fleet setting out and covers things like the Celestial Pursuit ending up on a mountain, the Scoutflies, the Seeker peacing out, the Research Base crash landing, and some other stuff I'm forgetting, and ends right before the opening sequence of the game.
