The free feeling of falling floods in to Ava as she travelled to an endless void. "Am I floating? Probably. Dreaming usually consist of that situation. Or probably this is the real death? I can't be sure. Her consciousness wheel in and out from her head. Her whole body was aching everywhere, shards of Divinium cover the entirety of her front that makes breathing hard for her. The Divinium might have damaged her lungs, the beating of her heart echoes on her head like a slow ticking clock.  Ava felt she landed somehow after some eternity to a cold surface not too long she heard some sounds of crisp flapping. Are those wings she can't be sure. Being dead the first time seems like a black out state for her. So this might be it, the real one. Or this is just on her head? The pain was excruciating maybe this is it. Ava sulk in as everything was too late to be saved, including herself. The last thing she would remember if she would still exist somewhere was a pair of teary chestnut eyes as she let go of her. "Clemence! Look at how easy it is. Stop worrying, I'll survive." She laughs. Balancing on the ledge of the bridge. "Olive! Come down, it's dangerous!" I scream. "Look!" She starts standing on one leg and does a ballet pose. She does a pirouette but loses grip and stumbles. My heart rate increases. "Get down!" I scream more panicked than ever. She just laughs it off. "I can prove it one more time!" She does a sauté and her confidence fades when she misses the ledge and falls. I run and try to grab her hand but it's too late instead I grab air and watch as she falls to her death. Her face is terrified and our gaze's lock. "CLEMENTINE!" She screams and that is the last thing I hear before she hits the ground and her body becomes limp. At that moment I knew she was dead. ~ * ~ Clementine is sixteen when her best friend dies. This leaves her in agony and devastation. She has one plan, that she shall die. But suddenly the optimistic and joyous Monroe comes along and makes her question her decisions. She imagined it almost asking for her touch. It didn't cross her mind how she knew he'd be soft, or how she even knew the creature was a 'he' to begin with. As her finger just barely grazed the animal, multiples things happened. She felt something shock her causing her to pull her hand back, just as thunder and lightning sounded. When the light cleared the animals' eyes, were narrowed into slits, and it was growling. It was a deep menacing sound that sent her stumbling backward, heart wildly beating. It bared fangs the size of her hand alone dipping its head. Had her touch angered the animal into finally attacking her? She kept moving backward in the rain, slipping in her converses as the creature continued growling. It was then she knew she was prepared to run, no matter what happened.
