Awaiting reply from some god's name
By james a. galgano
You can easily die almost every day a thousand deaths
Within whose tiresome breath welcomes tomorrow unfed
Where such endless hunger reigns supreme over every dream
Not like Solomon but like some raging maniacal French queen
Who would let the masses eat cake when they wanted so much more
While every desperate fist's echoes can be heard knocking on heaven's door
Even though no one answers as forever it is promised and proclaimed
There only enters into anxious ears the tears and anger in some god's name
