Other sides of a country with no reason to know each other. Until one day, Phil Lester makes the most significant 1 second decision of his life and favorites a tweet from the user danisnotonfire. A decision that would change both their lives.
Even without having met, Dan knows Phil is the one.His only true friend, the one to save him.
A secret friendship formed over heart warming and heart breaking messages, quiet, occasional, skype calls and secrets that would never be spoken to anyone but each other, their love for one another starts to blossom into something Dan never even daydreamed about and Phil was always told would never happen.
But Dan is far from stable and could have never warned Phil about what might happen, as he always tried to be positive. Until now.
In what seems to them like a perfect story, how can you have a happy ending when the only ending you can see for yourself is suicide?

He becomes the talk of the school, everyone wanting to know about this mysterious newcomer and where he came from. Phil's curiosity gets the best of him, so when he spots the new kid in his chemistry class, he can't help but introduce himself to who he would soon know as Dan. Dan actually ends up being an extremely cool and nice person, and Phil is excited to get along with him and form a friendship. However, there's something off about Dan. Dan, also known as Agent Ten, just lost his greatest mentor, and has been sent on what he's been told will be an extremely difficult mission to perform an assassination. His job is to meet, study, and assassinate Phillip Lester. When Dan finds his target introducing himself to Dan, Dan begins to think that this will be his easiest assassin to date...That is, until all of his assassination attempts fail. And, after getting to know his target a little better, Dan finds himself falling hopelessly in love with Phil Lester, and therefore unable to perform the assassination as instructed. Tragedy struck California this morning, and many people who were sleeping at 8 am didn't wake up in time to know that they were struck with a Magnitude 5.3 Earthquake. Many are saying those are the lucky ones, because those who survived, stayed alive long enough to see history happen. Four and a half hours later, California thought they were in the clear. After an extraordinary 600 foot Tsunami hit the Dockweiler State Beach, wiping out everything in it's path. Rescue crews have been awaiting on this horrific day in California, to go out and try to find any survivors. They do not have their hearts set on finding many alive. The clip ended, and through tunnel vision, Phil flipped back to Twitter. Dan hadn't wrote him in a while, and he hadn't been online as far as he was aware of. But one question was burning in his mind. When he saw Tori's twitter, she only had a handful of followers- so even if she happened to post that Phil said Dan was in America, it wouldn't count for everyone to know where Dan was. He hovered his mouse over the search bar, typed in "Dan", and clicked onto Dan's Twitter account.
