Hanae Kiyoko has grown up with everything given to her on a gold platter. After graduating, she went on to study to become a Rehabilitation Counselor. As a student though, she doesn't get paid and always has strict studying hours, so she decides to get a job as a singer in a night club to prevent herself from having to get money from her parents. As much as she hated it, this was the only job she could apply for with her tight schedule. With little to no choice but to take the job, she did what she had to do to survive.

Alongside her roommate and best friend, Mitsuki, they would live their normal everyday lives. That was until playing games where dying is the expectation was their new normal. The girls arrive in the Borderlands with many questions but only one goal, to survive. And
Kiyoko wouldn't hesitate to do anything and everything to ensure Mitsuki's life would be saved. Lying for her? Of course. Getting hurt for her? Without question. Dying for her? She's already pulling the trigger. Becoming a pawn for a woman with a hunting smile and eyes as sharp as diamonds? ...She wishes she didn't have to. With little to no choice but to take this job, she did what she had to do to survive.

But joining sides with a sly blond guy and his friend? Not a chance.
