Winter's Peak

Sara is a modern woman; she knows what she wants and how to get it.

Her life is lonely and lacks excitement, except for visitors that come at the peak of the winter season at her family resort in the north of Finland
Two guys appear to turn her life upside down.

Piece of first chapter

I go back to the road, and an instant grin hits my face. She has taken her helmet off; she still wears skiing glasses, but seeing part of her face is enough.

"Vittu miten noloa. Hyvä ettei ollut kokonaan revennyt auki."

(Fuck, how embarrassing. Luckily it's not sticking out completely.)

She takes her package fast from my hands -is that a shade of shame on her cheeks?

Now I'm interested, what is in that package?!

"Okay, let's go then; I'll help you get in the car."

I wrap my arm around her from her right side, and we slowly walk to the backseat door, behind Xander. She's one tough cookie, as she doesn't make a sound. I help her get inside of the car, and close the door. Then I walk to the other side and sit in front.

"Thank you, I really appreciate this.

My name is Sara, who are you guys?"

"I'm Adam, and that grumpy one is Xander.'Don't mind him."

"Ha ha, what's it with the sunglasses? Do you realize that it's polar night?"

"See Xander, even she thinks that's odd."

"Grhm." He's ticking his jaw; he doesn't like to be the center of attention.

Sara is taking off her skiing glasses and I'm holding my breath..Wow! She's beauty!
