"There's nothing you can do to stop me from caring about you," the Titan said, his voice heavy with emotion. "I couldn't hate you, even if I tried." "Stop being so dramatic," the Alchemist chuckled, shaking his head. "But it's true. Test me." "Alright, alright. I just took a sip of your wine," the Alchemist teased, laughing. "Yes, and I forgive you for it. I'd even forgive you if you drank the entire thing-even if it were the last sip of wine." "Well then, don't mind if I do," the Alchemist quipped, finishing the wine in one gulp. "Hey! That's not fair," the Titan protested with a mock frown. "You said you'd forgive anything," the Alchemist laughed. "See? Not everything can be forgiven." Years later, those words would carry a darker meaning. Without a trace of emotion, the Alchemist drove a dagger into the Titan's heart, as a crowd gathered to witness the act. Many events unfolded after that, leading to the Titan's survival and the Alchemist's demise. Overcome with grief and rage, the Titan unleashed relentless vengeance on those responsible and their descendants, leaving a path of destruction that shook the world. Yet, even after all the fury he unleashed, the horrors inflicted on him were so vile, so unrelenting, that forgiveness was impossible. His vengeance brought no peace-only more pain. But fate was not done with them. The Titan discovered the Alchemist reborn as a boy, unaware of his past, offered as a sacrifice to a god. The Titan saved him, not out of mercy, but for reasons only he understood. He kept the boy by his side, drawn to him by an unspoken craving, haunted by memories the boy could no longer recall. The boy was terrified of the Titan but found no way to escape him. Thus began their journey: a boy unaware of his forgotten past and trapped by the Titan, and a Titan haunted by memories he could never escape.

How to Make a Sinner Sleep

140 parts Complete

Kaden Chauvet awakes in the same cold room that he remembers, seeing the reflection of pale viridescent eyes that scream curses at his mind. This is a beginning; a second chance that he would rather forsake than claim. Time has reversed, and he is back to play the role of an obedient fool-only, he no longer has any intentions of wagging his tail and committing the heinous crimes that he once did. He will save everyone; and then face his judgement. The judgement that comes in the raven-scaled hands of the heroic, slightly quiet, and son of the Dragon bloodline, Noah Bellamy. And yet the man claims, "I want to save you, fool." And another tearfully cries, "Please don't die. Not again, never again." And another's graceful voice pleads, "I don't wish to witness your demise again." Kaden stares, utterly confused. "What?" --- One sentence summary: In which a terrible sinner seeks redemption and amusement by relentlessly teasing an irritated dragon.
