Taylor's mind has not always been her own. When a space portal opened in the sky and chaos rained down on the streets of New York, she served at the side of the god of mischief as he carried out his plan to rule the people of Earth. She killed for him. Protected him. Loved him. One touch from Loki's scepter sent her on a downward spiral, causing her to act in ways she otherwise wouldn't have. At least that's the narrative she chooses to believe.

Years later, she is still unable to forgive herself for things she had no control over. Just when she thought life was returning to normal after the battle of New York, shadows from her past begin to resurface and make her question her integrity. Corrupt colleagues, ghost assassins, and the rise of serpents. How much of the thread will unravel if she pulls hard enough?

This story begins just before the events of Captain America: Winter Soldier and will loosely follow the MCU timeline and the adventures that transpire after.

Falling Wind gushes past me as I tumble through the void. Stars blur together in the never ending dark, and I can't help but feel cold. And it's not the kind of cold that fades with warmth. It's the kind that grips your heart, freezes your limbs, and quickens every breath. It forces you to take note of how trapped your brain is, how it has been locked away without a key. It's the kind of cold that reeks of fear filled pain. The kind that makes you long for death's arrival. Smack Slimy, rocky, stones slam into me. For a never ending moment I can't breathe, I can't move. Landing I've finally landed, and now I want nothing more than to keep falling. I want nothing more than to feel the familiar arrival of my death. - (This story is still under editing) Loki is sent to Midgard after the events of Ragnarok. Madison thought she had closed the door on Tayler forever. Two years ago, she walked away, leaving behind the only boy who ever truly knew her-the one who made her feel safe, seen... and ultimately, shattered. She swore she'd never look back. But now, fate has other plans. Thrown back into each other's lives, Madison tells herself she's over him. That what they had is nothing more than a distant memory. But Tayler? He makes forgetting impossible. He's still the same cocky, flirtatious guy who knows exactly how to push her buttons-and pull her back in. Every lingering glance, every teasing remark feels like a dangerous game, and she's not sure she knows the rules anymore. But between them stands more than just unfinished business. New love, tangled emotions, and the unshakable weight of what once was. Madison knows she should keep her distance, but when it comes to Tayler, that's always been easier said than done. "You still look at me the same way," she muttered, hating the way her voice wavered. Tayler smirked, stepping closer, his voice low and daring. "And you still get flustered when I do." She should leave. She should mean it this time. But what if their story was never meant to end-just to begin again?
