Another Practical Guide to the Logic, Philosophy, and Thoughts of Christianity
Why do so many people on this planet believe in a divine being? Is it even sensible to believe in one? With increasing progression in human knowledge of the natural world around, there seems little reason to believe in a divine being. With this, the pressure increases on both the agnostic and Christian to abandon their search for the answer. Yet on the other front, the Christian also begins to face the rise of old enemies that once plagued Christian orthodoxy. Similar to its predecessor, this book and its compilation of themed articles addresses the issues in the logic, philosophy and thoughts of Christianity from a layperson point of view. Some of these articles serve to expand and clarify the points raised in its predecessor, and some on completely new topics. Yet unlike the predecessor, this book focuses more on the doctrine and basis of Orthodox Christian beliefs and how Christians can apply them to everyday life through articles that are once again, academic, reflective, and argumentative. Just like 'A Practical Guide to the Logic, Philosophy, and Thoughts of Christianity', this book is the result of a single individual's search for God. It promises to be challenging and thought provoking for the genuinely open-minded and interested. Even so, the articles are at best 'arm-chair theology' and are therefore meant to be easily understood by any interested agnostic and Christian with a slow yet provocative push into the basis of Christianity and her doctrines.Concluida
Heaven On Earth
It seems like just yesterday I was saved. Not knowing what to do next or where I should go. Little by little I had to find my way and put together the lessons I was taught from different sources to seemingly lead a holy life. My supreme happiness came from when I found Jesus. Little did I know all I had to do was dwell in his heart and he would provide me with the wisdom I need and show me the things I could only fantasize about. Things like these seemed to me too precious to keep hidden, and that's when I knew I just had to share Who He is to the whole world. Visions, testimonies, miracles and more came knocking at my door leading me into a dose of Heaven on Earth. Blue Roses for My Bride series: Book 1 NOTE I am not a writer, but I do enjoy writing. I learn as I go where writing a book is concerned. So the book has a lot of flaws, typos and words may not be in the correct order. It may be a finished book but there is still lots of work to do on it. It is a draft of my process in writing the book, so please keep in mind that things will be constantly added, taken out or changed until it becomes how the Lord wants it to be. He saved you He saved me What about others?
The world was full of trouble. Full of confusion and a catastrophic dilemma. One couldn't imagine at what destructive measure it would disintegrate into. While so many things were done to make the world a better place. At some point, it would later be revealed that the biggest problem was not a lack of educational facilities or a lack of health facilities. Believe it or not, Africa, also wasn't the world's biggest problem. The problem with the world today is sin. Sin brought about problems that would perpetuate into many more generations to come! It's almost unbelievable that someone would leave greener pastures to settle in a beat-down environment like Earth. One would wonder what this being could ever want. If life existed beyond the surfaces of our universe, why stay? If there was the possibility of walking with a glory that outshined the brightness of the sun, why hesitate? God cannot love us anymore than He loves our neighbor. His love tank is so vast that it accommodates everyone. Had He only sent Jesus Christ to the rich or the poor in African households, His love would then be conditioned to those that qualified. What makes His love so unique and strange is that He loves the broken and the sinners. He loves those of us that are unlikeable and unattractive. He persuaded His only son to die gruesomely to have all of mankind at His bosom. In the movies, opening doors and buying a bouquet of flowers is symbolic of love. In families, love is expressed in many different kind of forms. Even animals have ways in which they show affection. While all of that might stand out. It cannot be compared to the love of God. God can feel love, and He is love!Concluida
Like The Thunder Roaring
"The true light that gives light to everyone was coming into the world. He was in the World, and though the world was made through him, the world did not recognize him. He came to that which was his own, but his own did not receive him. Yet to all who did receive him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God--children born not of natural descent, nor of human decision or a husband's will, but born of God. The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth." (John 1:9-14) What that first Easter might have been like. The climax of God's plan for humanity, from Palm Sunday to Peter's reinstatement. Main title and chapter titles are from songs that I used to capture the mood of the moment, as it were, and I would really encourage you to listen to them. The Return of The King
The story I am writing begins with the return of the Lord Jesus Christ-not as the humble servant who once walked among men, but as the King of all Kings, coming to reclaim a fallen world. It is a story drawn from the light of Scripture, shaped by the living Word, and inspired by the revelations of prophecy. As I journey through the pages of the Bible, especially the Book of Revelation, the story continues to unfold-deepening with every insight, growing with every truth revealed. In the beginning, before the first sunrise touched the dust of the earth, God spoke-and creation answered. The heavens stretched into being, the waters were divided, and the earth came alive beneath His voice. From the dust, God formed Adam and breathed into him the breath of life. From Adam came Eve, and together they walked with God in perfect fellowship. But when sin entered, the bond was broken, and death cast its shadow across creation. Yet even in the fall, God's plan of redemption was already in motion. The story of humanity began to unfold according to divine order, each generation moving closer to the fulfillment of His promise. It was a promise written before time began-a story of love, sacrifice, and restoration that would one day culminate in the glorious return of Christ, the rightful King of all creation.Concluida
