So my mum got me a diary and told me to write down all my experiences of moving to a new town and attending a new school and meeting new people. I Honestly hate the word New at this point. "If it ain't broke, don't fix it", thats just the most sensible motto in life, but NOOOOO, my dad had to get promoted and get the whole family relocated to Nebraska. It's not like I had much to let go of though. Never really drew much attention to myself. The way I see it, I'm just fit to be a background character in other people's lives and to be honest, I think I like it that way. Since I didn't have any friends, I didn't need to deal with everybody's pathetically unimportant problems.

Well I'd actually have to be invited to one to actually know...

Life is taking a turn for me at this point, but I don't know if thats for better or for worse...

Who am I living for?
I know it's probably weird for a girl who has cancer to be so well like me and all, but my family and I both agreed that I should live my life as long as I can. I mean of course when I get a cold it's more than just your typical cold and all, but that doesn't stop me from living my life. Even if I have cancer I am still a normal teenager, just one that has an experation date. So I'm starting this new thing where I make a video diary of what I have done the last 4-5 months of my life and then share it with my school so then they could see why I am so weird and care free.Complete
The Working Life
Ugh! Work! Yeah, I know. Who likes working? You know unless you have your dream job or something. Yeah, I don't. Not yet anyway. But I presume this not-journal to be way less dramatic and funny. I don't see myself finding friends like I did in school and university. Even if I do get friends, they're gonna be grown-ups. Eww! And yes, I'm well aware I'm a grown up too. But even though I look like I'm twenty-one, my mind works like an eight-year-old. FYI, I'm older than twenty-one, so... Okay, job not-journal, here we go!

"Well then. That's the first time a girl has ever rejected my close proximity," he said, eyes ablaze with a playful fire. "You better get used to it," I retorted as I spun on my heel and headed for the school doors that led to the outside. "I've never met anyone like you before," he called after me, this time, not coming after me. "I know, Romeo. I'm a special little snowflake," I called back, not turning around. "You got the 'little' part right there, Princess!" he shouted after me. I threw up my middle finger back to him and heard him laugh as I exited out the doors rather dramatically. ... I'm tired of all those high school stories about a straight-A girl student with the perfect life who falls for the stereotypical Mr. Bad Boy who wears leather black jackets and only has a soft spot for her. I try not to stare most of the time, but for some reason, tonight, I just couldn't look away. Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of.
