Pygmalion ( a steddie oneshot)

After the battle against vecna, Steve is left grieving Eddie and the life they could've had together if Steve had only been brave enough to admit his feelings sooner.

To feel less alone he makes a portrait of eddie, despise having few little artistic skills, looks at it all the time.

In his dreams, Eddie is alive and they're together. But when he wakes up he's gone and Steve is alone again.

That is until Eddie is in his bed and it's not a dream.

Inspired by @simp_for_true_love tiktok, highly recommend following this account!

And of course also inspired by the story of Pygmalion from mythology and a little bit of the myth of Orpheus.

All characters belong to the Duffer brothers and Netflix, minus Aphrodite, Hades, and Apollo!
