My name is Ashlynn Jacobs. I'm a 12 year old disaster. Everything I do turns out bad. Really. It didn't used to be this way. I had a nice house in burgess and a family. I had a little sister and 2 wealthy parents until one day when everything went wrong. The darkness came. I don't know how or why. It came in the shape of a man and a army of horses. He killed my family but spared me, knowing he could feed off of my fear. He gave me a scar on my arm and left me out in the cold to die. It's my 2nd night out on the streets. I didn't know it, but tonight was the night that my whole life would change completely.
