Thanatos is the Greek God of Death. He is known to be a beautifully breathtaking god, tasked with delivering souls to the Underworld as Hades' subordinate.

Luelle Lovet is an editor. She lives a boring, meaningless life, at least in her eyes. She has exactly one friend and spends most of her time sleeping, drinking or smoking.

One regular Friday night, Luelle toppled off a building to her death. But, what happens when she wakes up a few days later with no memory of the tragic accident? She continues to live her life but strange things continue to happen despite her close encounter with Death.

Thursday, after going to a grocery store for tea, Luelle is shot. But, she's saved and wakes up in an unfamiliar house.

How will Luelle juggle the life-altering news while falling deeply in love with Thanatos? Will Divine Gods get in the way of their love? Read Dancing With A God to find out.

Warning: this book will include light smut, strong language, violent scenes, drinking, drug use and smoking.

This book will not follow the Greek mythological story line, only parts of it.

Commonly known, almost all Greek Gods are related directly or indirectly. For the story, Thanatos and his love interest will not be related in any way, shape or form, for obvious reasons.

When she's paired up as a bridesmaid with Marcus, the broken-hearted groomsman, she's drawn to their similarities. As their friendship grows and Marcus starts self-medicating his sadness, she's asked to spend more time with him and help him get back on track considering she's the only one that can seem to make him smile lately. Marcus Brown is a mortal, twin-brother to Julie Brown who is friends-with-benefits with Hermes, a greek god. He's also friends with Danika Evantin, formally Warren, a new goddess and soulmate of Apollo, who also happened to be his old Classics professor, Dr. Paul Evantin. Marcus has been in a long-term relationship with his girlfriend Molly for nearly a decade, but when she suddenly breaks up with him without an explanation and ghosts him, he's heartbroken and doesn't deal with the breakup well. With Danika and Apollo's wedding around the corner, Marcus and Melinoë are introduced as wedding-party partners. Death covets life-but she never looks his way. Until one fateful day. When archaeology student Ella drunkenly stumbles into a forgotten ruin in Greece, the last thing she expects is to wake a god. But her blood, spilled upon an ancient altar, does the unthinkable-it stirs Thanatos, the primordial god of death, from his first peaceful slumber in eons. He had been resting, taking a divine "vacation" granted by his twin brother Hypnos, when a mortal's curiosity quite literally kissed him awake. Now, Death walks the mortal world again-irritated, weary, and tethered to the woman who woke him. Ella, on the other hand, is horrified to discover she's not just trespassed on sacred ground but accidentally bound herself to the very embodiment of mortality. The two are forced into an uneasy coexistence: she, the living spark he was never meant to touch; he, the shadow who was never meant to linger. As their worlds collide-Greek ruins, meddling gods, divine bureaucracy, and one very cranky reaper-they begin to learn from one another. Thanatos, who has always known endings, discovers what it means to live. Ella, who has always chased the past, learns to see beauty in the inevitable. Their story unfolds between laughter and sorrow, myth and mortal folly-a dance between life and death itself. But love, like all living things, has a time limit. Once the fates cut the threads of their story, will they break the order of existence-or will Death carry away the woman who taught him how to feel? A blend of Greek mythology, dark romance, tragedy, and comedy, Bride of Thanatos is a tale where death start to yearn more than just an ending, life learns surrender, and eternity holds its breath for love that was never meant to be.

"Jealous?" "Why would I be?" "Because I know your fantasies." He argued. I leaned closer to him, smelling his overwhelming scent. "And I'm appalled at how they are just that. Fantasies." He smiled and leaned closer, piercing through my eyes with the blue of his. I wanted to grab the dagger beneath my pillow and kill him already. "Are you now?" He answered, coming dangerously close to me. He brought his hand up to lift my chin, our noses touching. Gods, help me. I want nothing to do with this man. I really don't. He hates me, and I hate him. Our banter is not just banter; there's always a sense of truth in between, and that's what makes it all the more addicting. - THE GOD is the master of death and darkness. Lore, previously known as Hades, rarely ever visited the mortal realm. As the gods get involved in a war against the rebellious uprising amongst the dark angels, he must work together with a group of immortals, a ruthless and serpentine assassin being one of them. THE SHADOW is a half-breed. Left destitute at seven and made a killer eleven years later, she leaves destruction and death wherever she walks the mortal realm. Forced into a team unit as punishment for her insolent behavior, she must work with the god she grew to admire and learned to hate. Alliances built on lies and hatred are inevitable to fall. Who will win in this game of the gods? (Modern Retelling of the story of Hades & Persephone)
