Welcome to my ONC entry! Following tradition, the title of my story has a name/nickname in it. This is my 6th year entering and my 8th story! I've been short-listed 3 times and have enjoyed every year, every story, every new friend made.

I hope you'll enjoy My Dark Beloved. Comments and feedback are more than welcome.

Now for the disclaimer: dark stuff involved ( drugs, alcohol, cursing, sex, violence, murder, blood, mental health issues, etc.). This story is rated Mature but stays within the guidelines. 

This tale has been influenced by Lost Souls, Velvet Goldmine, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, and a whole bunch of other amazing, dark, and deep stories and movies I've read and seen over the years.

And the people who came back insane, they would always wander over the fact that the monster had not even a scratch on him. Teens, young men and women would fear for their lives, and lock themselves in their houses at night. But only one person refused to hide, either in bravery or utter stupidity. That person was Will Solace. So basically, this story is based on the cover art of the book. I just thought it was such a great idea and wanted to put it to story. Why did the Vampires heartbeat 💓? He's determined to find out. Ava is a 5 year old little girl living with her grandmother in a small Missouri town. On her way to the pool for her swimming lessons she notices a stranger. Ava being the sweet little girl that she is offers the stranger help. Give it a chance please!!! There are different time periods through out the story and I tried to choose music for those time periods that reflect upon the chapter.
