Well, that's exactly how Melody and Kaylei felt after being friends for a solid fifteen years.
That's until the accident happened.
Melody  and Kaylei were normal freshman when it happened, no matter what changes could have been made if time travel existed, the accident was too powerful to be stopped.
Kaylei escaped with only a slight head injury and a broken foot.
Unfortunately, Melody's outcomes were much worse than hers.
