Eddie was kinda disappointed in himself for how relieving he found death to be.. But wait, if he was dead how could he feel anything or know that?
Steve is as closed off as ever, nobody really noticed how much he seemed to be everywhere, from one errand to another, never taking a break because he couldn't. Sleep deprived, scarily strong feelings when he was close to any cliff edge, and nightmares that made monsters hiding in the closet seem like laughable whispers in the wind.. and in the middle of all of this it turns out that monsters are not the only thing in the closet..

It used to bother him for a while. He wanted to prove he was more than a pretty face and some muscles. Prove to his father he could take over the business when he was old enough. Steve(21) Hasn't had a chance to leave this awful place. He has stayed around for the kids, wanting nothing more to be there for each one's graduation. Confused. Lonely. Depression has really started to hit in the last couple of years after all of the tragic losses to the upsidedown. Nearly losing everything and everyone he's cared for and loved. Most everyone has gotten their chance to escape, Nancy and Jonathan moved to California after graduation. Robin's off at college. Until he realizes maybe he's not so alone here, sparking a true friendship with the most unlikely person, Eddie Munson. Eddie(22) hasn't been able to get out of this town either after swearing he would get the hell out of here many years ago. The kids are all graduating this year, which will most likely end up giving the two now men, no reason to stick around anymore. But what will happen to the two friends when Steve realizes the feelings he's thought for so long to just be a platonic friendship have always been a little more? I do not own rights to the ST characters or themes but I do own rights to my own storyline. I will be using pictures from artists that I find as the art for each chapter.
