I wrote Miss Jackson when I was 16 and I had just begun my journey as a writer. It gained some traction and I got a lot of praise for it. 
Now I'm 24 and I've grown so much since then, rereading it for myself I cringe at the plot and dialogue I used when I was a kid. 
So as much as I love the original for being my jumping off point I wanted to rewrite it, using everything I've learned over the last 7 years and hope that the people that read the original might want to reread it or people that have just found it may enjoy it more than the original if they happened upon it. 
This is the first 10 chapters. 

The plot: Brendan Ulrich is a 27 year old teaching assistant at UCLA who's head over heels for a student, Delilah Jackson. She also happens to feel the same. After some back and forth they come together and fall in love. Parents, teachers and other students get in their way as they try to navigate this new relationship all while hiding it from the school.All Rights Reserved

It was really more of a self-insert friend fiction and looking back on it I still cringe of what I thought 16 years old I thought was good. But that's part of art right. Yahtzee Crowshaw once said, "99% of artists hate the work they made in the past and the other 1% are dirty liars." I hate it and cringe but I still have a fond memory of finishing this and letting out a good sigh of satisfaction. Keep in mind that this story will be riddled with grammar and spelling errors.
