I wrote Miss Jackson when I was 16 and I had just begun my journey as a writer. It gained some traction and I got a lot of praise for it.
Now I'm 24 and I've grown so much since then, rereading it for myself I cringe at the plot and dialogue I used when I was a kid.
So as much as I love the original for being my jumping off point I wanted to rewrite it, using everything I've learned over the last 7 years and hope that the people that read the original might want to reread it or people that have just found it may enjoy it more than the original if they happened upon it.
This is the first 10 chapters.
The plot: Brendan Ulrich is a 27 year old teaching assistant at UCLA who's head over heels for a student, Delilah Jackson. She also happens to feel the same. After some back and forth they come together and fall in love. Parents, teachers and other students get in their way as they try to navigate this new relationship all while hiding it from the school.

The Hybrid
I jumped to my feet and punched him in the side. There was hardly an effect. "You're weak" he spat, walking a step closer towards me. I growled as I had had it with this blood sucking devil! My blue eyes fumed in anger as my wolf was released. I am a white wolf. Liam's eyes bulged as he saw my true form. He then smiled ready to fight. I lunged for the bastard, knocking him to the ground. His other minions rushed towards me all attaching me at once. I attempted to fight against them. They kept coming on me and it was becoming too much for me to handle. My fur had gone from a snowy white, to a bloody reddish color. So much blood. I laid down. Maybe just a minute of rest. I saw Liam walk up to me. He looked down at me and smiled. "What's wrong little wolf? No more energy?" He smirked. Then Liam was suddenly thrown to the damp ground by something, a jet black wolf with glowing red eyes. He was beautiful with his gleaming coat and strong legs. The black wolf left Liam on the ground and fiercely killed all of Liam's minions easily. He wasn't finished with his prowl, he turned back to face Liam but realized that the pureblooded vampire had already run off. Then I hear a deep growl. The Step Brother
So this story was written when I was like 12 years old so idk how it has that many reads on it. I thought it was cool making the main girl Spanish and google translating words which literally mean the complete opposite. I understand this can be offending and I've tried to go through and fix it or just get rid of it. It honestly is just a whack story that I should go back and re write and actually give it a point but by all means go ahead and read. I wrote this story before I knew what I was even doing! This was written in 2011 and is unedited and sloppy. It's the first story I ever wrote.
