Nina Darrow is on board a plane going from L.A to Spain to visit her gran, when an unexpected plane crash happens.
They crash onto a deserted Island where Nina finds that she is the only one standing.
Desprate to get home, she sends a siginal to a passing ship. The captian comes and tells her to wait a week so they can call for help at the nearest police staion in France, because there ship is too full of cargo they could not fit another passenger on unfortunately.  
Will Nina be able to survive the wildness of the island for a week or will the police come to find Nina's dead body?
