How to Sleep Through the End of the World in September

Luna Caddel just wanted to spend her last day of Summer with her two best friends and neighbors, Evelyn Heart and Cora Whitlock, but things take a turn for the worst.

Luna goes to sleep on August 31st, a completely normal day, and wakes up two moths later on Halloween. Her parents are gone. It seems like everyone is gone until Luna sees Evelyn whose family is also missing. After even their 9-1-1 call fails the girls are sure that every other human and all animals had disappeared during the strange time-lapse.

In desperate hopes of seeing if their other friend Cora survived the apocalypse things get even weirder. (If that's even possible.)

Enter: Leigh, Cora's beloved pet cat that died three years prior to the mysterious time-lapse. She's a cat with many surprises, and secrets.
