He tries to keep in contact with his family as much as he can, but his time becomes short as meetings upon meetings pile on top of each other. At one point he doesn't contact them at all, which leaves Quinn to worry if he is okay or not. Beth has news to tell Jonah, but he has been distant lately. She feels as if they grew apart. He is hardly home, when he is, it is after three in the morning, and he is usually drunk. She doesn't think to much of it because she finally graduated and started working in the pediatrics unit as a nurse at the local hospital.
