The grass-covered hill awakened with a fury, deluging the cities around it with fire. Those out of reach of the lava received the snowfall of ashes. Houses collapsed under the weight of the flakes of airborne stone. With the cracking of the stones and bedrock around the now-active volcano, a plague clawed its way from the bowels of the earth, decimating the survivors of the volcanic explosion.

The local priestess, communing with her god, learns the devastation of thousands of lives is simply the start of the cataclysm.

How to stop the wrathful destruction? Find the One Who Must Die and sacrifice them, casting them into the mouth of the volcano. Lots are cast and the hunt is on before more people die...
