With no one left to believe her, Sophie flees to the only place no one would ever find her: the Forbidden Cities. She is determined to clear her name, but that will be difficult with the entire council and Collective on her tail. Until she meets the Renegades-- a group of elves her age, each with their own story to tell. Deciding to travel with her new friends until her name is cleared, Sophie learns to live a new lifestyle of theft, running, and mischief.
