Chapter 1, How It All Started
There we were, walking into the horde. It all began one sunny Saturday. My brother and I and a bunch of other people wake up around 7 o'clock and go down to the local military base and have a air force auxiliary. This day didn't feel like other days did, we woke up to the sounds of police sirens. We didn't think anything of it until we went outside to get in the car. Instead of just ignoring it and going with the flow, my brother ran over to a group of police at our neighbours house and asked what was going on. They said all they knew was that some crazy person came and mauled them to death but he was detained so there was nothing to worry about. When we got in the car I see my brother check the gun in the glove compartment to see if it had ammo. When we arrived at the building we have the auxiliary at we see Capt. (our commander) pacing with his knife out. We walked up to him and saw blood dripping from it, "What happened!"
"One of the guys...went crazy."
"This is the second time today," I say.
"What do you mean?" he said.
"Some "Crazy Guy" killed our neighbours."
"This isn't right, when the other people get here get them inside and we'll brief them on what happened."

I guess you could say that Liam is the "leader" of the group because they do whatever he says and seem a bit afraid of him. As I turned around to start walking again I felt a grab and pull on my arm.
