The Laureate

A day in the life of a crack addict sojourning at a mid-range hotel.

During a getaway in November 2020, a message in the vintage typewriter of our hotel room encouraged us to pass along an inspiring quote or story from our Key West experience for display in their lobby. While trying to hook up Roku, I found some paraphernalia and a receipt from a Cuban restaurant in the area about a month old. This is the story I left in the typewriter when we departed.
