Skilled as an apothecary, she holds no ill will of anyone and never turns away a person that needs her help. But what if that person is not human, but a dangerous creature feared by humanity in an ever-decimating world?

Dawn finds a theron, a shapeshifting creature typically renowned as dangerous, in critical condition and dying by the roadside.  Will she go against her morals? Or try to help him and risk further prejudice, or worse, her life.

How she comes to a decision all starts with a drink at the bar...
