Ever the tomboy to keep herself from getting hurt, Ivy knows it's safer to yearn from afar than it is to love up-close. What happens when a new guy shows up at her high school and starts to treat her as more than a friend? What happens when she goes off to college? Will she be liberated? Loved? Or is she condemned to a life on the sidelines, always the buddy, never THAT GIRL?
