Little did she know half way through her awesome year somethings will happen. Her father's job will start to revolve around her new school Riverstone Academy.  

Also her old childhood friend will come back and ignite this incredible feeling she forms in her heart. But Lily has a secret. It could be the truth the the mystery crime her dad has to solve. But one thing her childhood friend has asked is is killing her. If their 11 years promise can be undone. 

Will her hopes fall into pieces? Will her little secret be exposed? Or will things just go her way?

"What now Jacky?" Jackson. That was his name.

"Lily, I wanna make a pinkie promise!" he said.

"What is that?" I asked him.

"It's when we make a promise and put our pinkie fingers together." said Jackson.

"Okay! Why do we have to make a pinkie promise?" I asked him. I was just curious to why he wanted to make one. 

'Mommy said we are going to move." his lips turned from a big cheery smile to a pout.

"What? You're going to move?" I didn't want him to. I love Jackson. He is my only friend here.

"Yeah. That's why we have to make a pinkie promise!" he changed his pout back to smile, which made me smile back. I just looked at him and nodded.

"So I want us to promise each other to never forget about each other!" he chirped. I laughed. Then we linked pinkies to make it official.
