A thrumming lulled gently in his stupor. A voice was calling to him. Yearning for him. His eyes laid upon his ship - pulverized by the might of God. His eyes fluttered and for a moment he saw his crew mates awaiting his arrival into the arms of death. They had warned him against sailing in the storm; death was supposed to be his fate alone. Their pitiful bodies bobbed in the current, easing in and out of existence, drifting toward a place he couldn't imagine...

"Well, what do we have 'ere?" A hoarse voice stated above me, making my eyes glaze upward in the direction of the culprit, only to freeze at the icy, crystallized irises of the owner. There, above me, was the man I saved, looking insanely at me with crazed eyes and a mocking tone. His hair was stuck on his forehead and the smudged eyeliner created a trace of dark lining on his face, making him look hauntingly. The man gazed at my form in amazement and wonder before they captured mine again, sending an icy cold sensation coursing through my vein, making me shiver. He was frightening and breathtaking at the same time. "A mermaid, aye?" he questioned as his gaze trailed down the length of my body. Grabbing my arms with one hand, he caressed my face gently, his thumb grazing my parted lips before they went below my hair twirling a single piece. I struggled from underneath him when he let the hair graze my breast underneath my blackened hair. Grinning at me madly, my eyes narrowed distastefully as his hand touched my crimson scales, stroking the tail almost lovingly. "Is this how you repay your saviour, pirate?"Complet
My pink little mermaid (HyunBin)
There was something so inexplicable about this beautiful creature before him. The gills on his neck pulsated with the heaving of his chest. His very pink hair- pastel- trailed in the water around his face and when Changbin looked down- The most beautiful pink tail he had ever laid eyes on. Even In the darkness of the water, the scales glinted and shimmered with hues of pinks and even gold. So, so rare because mermaids and mermen had only ever adorned blue scales to blend with the habitat around them. And maybe Changbin really was hallucinating. Maybe this was just the grim reaper- a really ethereal grim reaper- dragging him down to hell instead of to the surface of the water. Before Changbin could open his mouth and ask 'am I going to die?' His lungs finally gave out on him as he breathed, and inhaled the salty sea around him. Or Changbin is saved by a beautiful merman- and years later, he can return the favor when he finds him injured and unconscious at port.
Cleansing the Waters
It's a shame, truly... When a boy is pushed to far, he slips, and cascades down the mountain, resulting in grievous injuries, which lead to him being bound to a wheelchair. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, but in this world, he was seen as a liability, he was unable to find a friend, someone to connect to, all because he couldn't walk to a conference room, having his only solace be the bedridden USS Yorktown. After gazing to the ocean once more, he turns to head back, but was knocked unconscious, an act seen by many of the shipgirls. It was the Sirens, coming to gain a new follower.Complet

She should kick them off-that's what you were supposed to do if you fell into the ocean with your clothes on-but she was only a dozen feet from the dock. Besides, it was her only coat. Jason watched her the way she'd watch a barracuda. "I know you're following me." "Following you?" What. The. Hell. She gave a mighty kick and tossed her coat onto the dock. Jason just stood there.
