Ash was no one special just a normal girl with not much to her, she wasn't popular and wasn't half a pretty as the other girls her age but she was a good person everyone who got to talk to her knew that. She played volleyball, helped at every community service event there school had, and helped at her moms shop on main Street after school every day. but only her closest friends got to see the not so nice parts. the truth was she was a broken kid who didn't really know who she was, the endless night and long fights with herself were constantly raging, the past she couldn't let go and the future she was afraid to create. but in the middle of the woods in an old abandoned train yard she could let lose and let her mind rest, but what happened when that place so dear to her is being threatened to be destroyed by one of the biggest companies in her entire town. There seems to be no chance for her safe haven, until the son of the company proposed a deal with the girl that she flat couldn't refuse.

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?"
