I was in my room dressing to start morning duties for the day until I heard my door creak open.
"Hahahahha I've finally found you", I heard a femimine voice say with a cane on her hand
I felt the cane land on my skin, not once not twice not thrice and the next thing after thrice......
It had an everlasting stinging effect

She sighed and inhaled the cold air of the dark room, snuggling under her covers. The only light illuminating the room was the light from the TV. Everything was going smoothly, until she heard footsteps approaching from the hallway leading to her room. Her room was at the extreme of the hallway. The footsteps stopped right in front of her door-- then a knock on the door could be heard. "Ani" she heard a voice from outside call That was the day Her life changed forever. If she had known how things would turn out, she never would have opened the door for her drunk father to get in. "Come here darling" he had said in a gruff tone and she made her way towards him and rested my hand on his shoulder. A move she regretted her whole life. It felt like her world came crashing down as he did the unthinkable. She had so many sleepless nights due to that worst night of her life. The tension in the house was brewing, but her mother was never really there as she was too busy with her career to notice the changes in her daughter or the cloud of tension that hovered around the house. To top it all up, she was also dealing with bullies in her school. Waking up every morning was something Juanita didn't look up to Everyday she hoped she would not, but to her dismay, fate had other plans for her. Would Juanita be able to get justice for herself? She's lying peacefully on my chest, holding on to my new leather jacket while I walk us up the campus steps and into the staff closet.
