I felt the cane land on my skin, not once not twice not thrice and the next thing after thrice......

She sighed and inhaled the cold air of the dark room, snuggling under her covers. The only light illuminating the room was the light from the TV. Everything was going smoothly, until she heard footsteps approaching from the hallway leading to her room. Her room was at the extreme of the hallway. The footsteps stopped right in front of her door-- then a knock on the door could be heard. "Ani" she heard a voice from outside call That was the day Her life changed forever. If she had known how things would turn out, she never would have opened the door for her drunk father to get in. "Come here darling" he had said in a gruff tone and she made her way towards him and rested my hand on his shoulder. A move she regretted her whole life. It felt like her world came crashing down as he did the unthinkable. She had so many sleepless nights due to that worst night of her life. The tension in the house was brewing, but her mother was never really there as she was too busy with her career to notice the changes in her daughter or the cloud of tension that hovered around the house. The banging starts again but this time a lot louder. I can hear the girls screaming up stairs. I pick up my phone and dial 911. "Hello this is 911 what's your emergency?" The glass breaks and I start screaming. I stand up and try to scramble up the stairs. The door comes falling down and there are about 10 wolves standing in front of my door. Her teeth is wrapped around my neck and she sinks them in. I try to scream but it's hard to. At first it hurts but now the pain no longer exists.
